Dr. Arthur Gomez is leaving GIM and retiring from the VA to become the new Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. There he will be part of establishing CDU's new School of Medicine, one of the nation’s few independent Historically Black Graduate Institution/Medical Schools and Hispanic Serving Health Professions Schools.
Dr. Michael Ong has been named Associate Chief of Staff for Research at the VA Greater Los Angeles.
GIM staff member, David Rincon, of the Community Engagement Program team, celebrates 20 years of working in GIM.
