What was your favorite event in the month of August?

At the beginning of each month, we will share out our STH Counseling calendar for the month (there are campus wide events and Counseling events on the STH Events calendar) through our newsletter. As you have discovered,  the fall season at STH is full of memory making opportunities. We are excited about the variety of upcoming college fairs, including one at STH! Scroll down to learn more and get your calendar ready to save several important dates!

Most importantly this month, September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

National Suicide Prevention Week is September 4 – 10, 2022, with World Suicide Prevention Day falling on the 10th. We recognize suicide is an difficult topic.  Understanding the issues surrounding suicide and mental health is an important way to take part in suicide prevention, help others in crisis, and change the conversation around suicide. The Counseling Team,  along with Mr. Ivins is here, to support you and your family.

Please don't hesitate to reach out by using our links at the bottom of this newsletter. You can also reach out directly to Mr. Thomson Ivins at 713-864-6348 x 254
