Have you ever wanted to show a child what playtime was like before the invention of computers or plastic toys? How about going back even farther, before radio and television?
At the Marine Fall Festival on Saturday, September 17, civilian reenactors from the Living History Society are bringing toys and games that were common in the 19th century. Children and their caregivers will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with games such as ball in a cup, a bilbo catcher, fabric dolls, marbles, checkers, snake, fox and geese, and others.
