Yesterday Republican candidates for State Office (State Senate and House) met in a policy retreat led by State Chair Finnegan to educate and equip our candidates to discuss issues and fresh solutions to the problems most important to voters. As well as to prepare them to answer voter questions, complete candidate surveys and questionnaires, and walk confidently into any public forum or event.  It will also help them craft a more specific and impactful message on their walk cards, mailers, and website.

Primary Election

On Friday, the State Office of Elections completed the required post primary election audit per HRS §16-42. Official Observers randomly selected the precincts and races to be audited, election staff manually counted and tallied each ballot image and compared them to the tabulated count. I observed no issues with the results of the audit. Final election results will be posted once all election challenges are adjudicated.

One of the good things that came out of the State's pandemic debacle was that parents around the State found out exactly what our Public Schools are teaching [indoctrinating] our keiki! Here, and around the United States, parents are trying to sort out how much influence and oversight they should have in public schools. With mixed messages coming from our BOE and DOE, parents are rightfully concerned that our schools may be teaching revisionist history and other concerning moral positions.
