This week's ASTech Spotlight: Outstanding Women in Innovation:

The ASTech 2022 Outstanding Woman in Innovation Award honours leadership and significant contribution to a science, engineering, mathematics or technology (STEM) innovation or breakthrough through research or entrepreneurial activity. Nominations close September 15, for more information click HERE

Need inspiration?

Our 2021 Outstanding Woman in Innovation Award Winner, Dr. Deborah Kurrasch's lab, developed a novel drug screening platform designed to uncover therapies with unexpected mechanisms of action. Their lead program focused on pediatric epileptic patients encephalopathies (EEs).

Our 2009 Outstanding Leadership In Alberta Technology Award Winner, Dr. Linda Pilarski's "Lab on a Chip", links therapeutics and nanotechnology - as a pre-eminent cancer researcher and professor at the University of Alberta's Cross Cancer Institute.
