Streaming Note
We have had some technical difficulties with our streaming setup. We're working on a fix, but in the meantime, Pastor Lindsay will record her sermons and upload them to our YouTube page, and we will also try to record the whole Sunday worship service and upload that as well.

Masking Update
Masks are optional in worship. Our previous decision to make masks optional at Risk Level of LOW was based on then-current guidance from the CDC. This summer, the CDC, the IDPH, and the ELCA Metropolitan Chicago Synod updated their COVID guidelines, and the LMC Council determined at our last meeting that we would give folks the option to use a face mask in church when the city’s Risk Level is LOW or MEDIUM.
Chicago's current COVID-19 Risk Level is MEDIUM, so we are going to start going mask optional at church this weekend. Our ELCA Metropolitan Chicago Synod supports congregations in the decision to be mask optional. We’ll continue to provide KN95 for anyone who would like them because we know a well-fitting KN95 mask is a high level of protection for the individual wearing it. As there are typically fewer people seated in the balcony, it is a good option if you desire greater social distance.

The church office will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 5, in observance of Labor Day.

Rally Day 2022
Join us for Rally Day on Sunday, September 11! We will gather for worship outdoors at 10am, then enjoy a block party featuring the return of Ribfest and activities for the kids. We have a great line-up of cooks smoking ribs in their own unique styles for our eating enjoyment.

Our programming year is coming up, and we would love to know if you will be joining us! Sunday school will begin on Sunday, September 18, and Wednesday programming will begin Wednesday, September 21.
