2022 Fall Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training
When a disaster strikes, having the knowledge and skills to respond are vital to you and your family’s safety. Training courses include, but are not limited to: Fire Extinguisher Usage, CPR, Amateur Radio, Triage, Search and Rescue, Basic Medical Care, & Incident Command. Revised Tree Removal Requirements
Senate Bill 518 went into effect on July 1, 2022 and amends the requirements that must be met in order for a property owner to utilize Florida Statutes § 163.045 to be exempt from the City of Tampa’s tree removal permitting requirements. Learn more about the updated requirements here.

The City of Tampa is working on a major infrastructure project to prevent flooding in Seminole Heights. Unfortunately, this project requires the closure of Florida Avenue for a few weeks. Mayor Jane Castor wants to make sure everyone knows that the businesses along Florida Avenue are still OPEN and encourages everyone to stop by and support them, especially during the closure.
