Formula Student Spain
This week we will be competing in the Formula Student Spain competition at the Parcmotor Castelloli Circuit! Here we will race autonomously against other teams from all across Europe. The competition will not only focus on dynamic events but also the static events. During the week, we will send an update each day about our progress.
Day 1
Sunday around 15:45 we left from Momentum to Spain. After a 18-20 hour drive with many stops, we arrived at Parcmotor Castelloli in Barcelona. Here, the first cars arrived around 10:00 and the last around 12:00 on Monday morning.
Once we arrived at the circuit we registered all the team members. Then, we went to set up the pits and campsite. Here we will be staying the entire week so it is important to have a good place to work and relax. With the help of the entire team this went smoothly and quickly.
Late in the afternoon, some people worked a bit on the car to make sure everything was ready for scrutineering tomorrow. For the rest of the team it was time to relax after the long day. This was when the weather also started turning bad. This resulted in a nice lightning show for the entire team.
The coming days will be focused on scrutineering, static events and of course the dynamic events!
All in all, it was a lightning start of Formula Student Spain!
