Hi everyone!

Spring has arrived and we are starting to see some blue skies (not today!) and blossom on the trees!

Today is R U OK? Day, but every day is a good day to ask "are you ok?" or "how's your mental health?"... and have a conversation to check on someone and stay connected. See below for more information.

This week (5-11 September) is
Women's Health Week. The theme 'It's all about you' is a call to action for busy women to make time to look after their health and wellbeing. So if you've been putting off a health appointment, taking time to be active, or even just finding some space in your day to chill, make it a priority. So many women's health resources can be found here. And look below at this special Health Checks for Women checklist!

Many of us enjoyed the events of Adult Learners Week over the past week! From excursions to the Melbourne Museum to a Movie and BBQ night at GEALC, we have celebrated learning with lots of fun activities! Check out the photos below!

GEALC's FOOD DRIVE is continuing this week. We are collecting pantry supplies to give to CIS Glen Eira who support local people in need. Please see the poster below for examples of things to donate. I hope we can collect LOTS of pantry items and make a real difference! There will be a box in the kitchen where you can put your donations. Thank you!

We are excited about some new courses and programs for Term 4 - Art, Culture Club, Medical Reception and Job Ready programs can add to your knowledge and experience!

This will be the last News for Term 3. Last class next Friday 16th... and then have a great break!

🙂 Lindy
