LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SPANISHCHAM SG WELCOME TO THE NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF THE SPANISHCHAM SG
Dear Members,
We are delighted to announce that from September 2022, Bibiana Diaz Gomez-Barquero will take over as the new General Manager of the Chamber, replacing Fernando Rovira.
Having previously worked in the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) in Stockholm, Bibiana has lived in Singapore since early 2021 and is well known in the Spanish community through her membership of the Spanish Association of Singapore (AES). We are very excited to have Bibiana join the team and we know she’ll do a great job leading the Chamber.
We have exciting years coming for the Spanish Cham as we see more Spanish companies arriving to Singapore and vice versa. They can count with the support of the Chamber for their implementation in both countries. We have also the challenge to expand the services of the Spanish Cham to their members and Bibiana will be key in making this happen.
We also wish to extend our gratitude to Fernando for his hard work and dedication in helping to grow the Chamber’s outreach and reputation in Singapore, during the challenging last 2 years. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
