  • The lake bar loves contributions and you can have a great time taking a stop on the way up at Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa
  • The clothing swamp wants your items! Business, leisure, masculine, feminine, leonine.
  • The CreTEAceous Lounge will be open for DIY tea and company, but you can sign up to host the space too!
  • Can Stomping Competition Friday dinner time! Leave a more compact trace.
  • Dino Prom is happening! Saturday night 8pm. Bring your prom dress or your pterodactyl tutu or your very best vest or whatever you want for Dino Prom. This features dance cards, Carbon Dating, and 80s music.
  • The music lineup is out! Where are you going to walk that dinosaur?

Getting here

Mendocino Magic is at 3000 Branscomb Rd, Laytonville, CA 95454
You will not be able to enter the property outside of the following Gate hours:

  • Thursday 12pm–2am
  • Friday 10am–2am
  • Saturday 10am–7pm

Bring Cash for Ice & Tacos

Paco's Tacos will be there starting at 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Bring cash!
Ice is available at Basecamp for cash purchase ($5 in a jar)

Map

Save this image to your phone and/or print your own copy of the map! Printed copies will be available in limited quantities onsite.

How dinos get food

  1. Cook at their campsites, but only if their stove is on a table
  2. Cook at Basecamp by bringing a stove to use on the tables in the shaded outdoor Community Kitchen or using one of the grills at the Dining Patio
  3. From the indoor kitchen community meal team will make first-come, first-serve meals Fri/Sat/Sun brunch and dinner—community meals are scaled to feed about half of the dino population, so dinos bring plenty of alternate food
  4. Giving cash to Paco's Tacos, a taco/BBQ vendor starting at 5pm on Saturday and Sunday

COVID

Those pesky viruses are quite inconvenient, to say the least! Keep your fellow fauna healthy and safe by taking a rapid test the day you arrive to confirm the absence of active infection.

  • Bring your actual test or a timestamped photo of it
  • Take your test when you arrive
  • Forget? Go to a store!

Volunteering

If you haven't gotten a chance to select any volunteer shifts, the live-updated list of Open Shifts is viewable here and role descriptions are viewable here
If you or anyone you know would like to volunteer, but have not signed up, the Volunteer roster linked above will be posted at Basecamp for anyone to sign up for a shift—please direct them there!

We are looking especially for dino-volunteers for:
Raptors (trainings Friday and Saturday 11am at Raptor HQ), and
Strike (stay through Monday afternoon).
