Yes!  It's time for our Full-Moon Night Event at Clovelly Golf Course on Saturday 10 September.

Thanks to Eskom you've already got your headlamp out, so grab your shoes and meet us at sunset for some night-time navigation.  And to spice things up just a little further, you can choose to run the long course as a head-to-head race against your best friend (or mortal foe).  Starting at the same time, you will run the exact same course as each other, but thanks to the beauty of butterfly-loops** you won't be able to follow.

Intrigued?  All the event details are below so make sure to get your entries by Thusday 08 September.

**BUTTERFLY WHATS?

Butterfly loops are a way to ensure that all competitors run the same course even if the order of various sections of the course differ.  Basically the course is made up of a number of loops, and each competitor does every loop, but in a different order to others in order to prevent following.
South African Orienteering Championships

This year's SA Orienteering Championships takes place in Krugersdorp, Gauteng over the weekend of 23 - 25 September.  If you are going to be in the area, or looking for a reason to get away for a bit, this weekend always offers some of the best orienteering in the country.

Note that there are always novice and non-competitive courses on offer, so don't be put off by title.
