Save the Date for Wine & Clay
The Des Moines Arts Festival is proud to present a new event celebrating the earth arts, Wine & Clay.
Set to make its debut on November 12, Wine & Clay will take place at the Valley Junction Activity Center (217 5th Street, West Des Moines) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature artists working in the earth arts medium, including, but not limited to, pottery, figures, tiles, tableware, jewelry, and wood. The event will also feature wines, available as a tasting flight or by the glass, culinary faire and clay demonstrations.
Culinary faire is available through the events' Plates & Provisions experience. Here, guests may purchase a handmade plate created by a local artist, along with access to an appetizer station catered by Gateway Market.
Wine & Clay is made possible thanks to a grant from Prairie Meadows and through support from Luana Savings Bank and Gateway Market.
