Dear Friends,

Religion has inspired extraordinary acts of resistance and critiques of racial injustice, however, sadly, it has also played a significant role in encouraging and legitimatizing racial oppression.

Please join the discussion with a panel of Arkansas faith leaders to explore the complexity and volatility of the relationship between race and religion. Let's consider ways of ending racism in our faith communities and build a culture of peace and transformation in our state. This event is a part of Arkansas Peace Week festivities and will take place in-person on Thursday, September 22, 7:00 p.m., at 1501 Market Street in Little Rock.

This panel is sponsored by The Interfaith Center, Interfaith Arkansas, and the Arkansas Culture and Dialog Center. There is no charge to attend.
