"Welcome to the September newsletter and the eve of Peterhead Seafood Festival this Saturday. This year we reintroduce the event on the back of the monthly Producers' Market, but with some significant additions to the normal market. The Festival, as always, will centre on and showcase local seafood produce, but it will be an event for the whole family, between 10am and 3pm, with various attractions, to bring crowds once again to the town centre. Sponsors this year are PPA, NESFO and Event Scotland, assisting us to put on a quality event.

It is a day looked forward to by many, it also marks the start of Food & Drink fortnight, so we'd encourage you to make the most out of the anticipated additional footfall to the town centre."

Concerns on rising Energy costs, is it
Time For A Second Opinion?

Given the current energy crisis, it’s beneficial to consider your options and there’s support available to help. We read this fantastic article from eyebright https://eyebrightutilities.co.uk/blog/business-utilities-second-opinion/ and thought it may be of value to your organisation.

We contacted Michael Dogan at eyebright about the article. Michael said, “I offer a free review for every BID member and it starts with a conversation and data analysis. Over the past month we’ve provided free reviews to single and multi-site organisations, completely free of charge. Especially at this uncertain time when decision makers are frustrated and possibly worried, it’s good to have someone to talk to within the energy industry and we’ll always strive to find a solution that meets expectations.”

Michael is available to answer any questions you have. You can click the link to book a free, no obligation consultation online now. Alternatively, speak to Michael on 0141 530 4152 or email m.dogan@eyebrightutilities.co.uk to get his opinion on your utility (energy, water, broadband or chip and pin) services.

If you are currently tided into a contract, we would encourage you to take time to make contact with Michael at eyebright, as we all know every saving is important to us all.

Renewal

By now all our BID members should have received a copy of our Business Plan along with your voting paper.  Votes must be returned to CIVICA no later than 5pm on Thursday 29 September for your vote to count.

Questions around the Ballot:

Q) If I don’t return my Ballot Paper, will this be registered as a yes vote?

A) NO - Ballot papers not returned will not be counted.

Q) As the landlord I should have the right to vote.

A) The landlord only has the right to vote if the premisses is vacant.

If you are unsure of any aspect of the Business Plan, please contact Linda, Rediscover Peterhead Manager.

We would urge any of our business owners to contact Police Scotland on 101, to report any anti-social issues no matter how small.
