The last fortnight has been packed full as more and more things are starting or re-starting across the church!

Last weekend we took a team to minister at Centrepoint Vineyard in Belrose, and this weekend a team is going to bless Viva Vineyard in Hornsby. We love these new opportunities to encourage and bless the wider Vineyard.

Earlier this week we had a fantastic workshop on deliverance ministry hosted by the SOKM team. We are very grateful to Greg Trainor for the rich and sensitive teaching he brought. This week we also kicked off a second weekly prayer meeting for the church – details below.

There’s lots of info about what’s coming up so we won’t go on - but as you can see spring is coming and community is stirring. Praise God!

Pray for Northridge

Join us as we partner with God’s heart in prayer for the ministries of Northridge Vineyard Church.

Meals Ministry

One of the ways that we love to do community is to bless each other with meals. Whether it’s with the arrival of a new baby, the passing of a loved one, sickness or navigating a challenging season in life; a meal can communicate, thought, care and support as well as helping to cover the physical need. As we have been reminded through Covid, our community and support networks are an important part of who we are. We want to continue to love and support each other well.

We would love to invite you to consider being involved in our meals ministry and helping to bless others in their time of need. Whether you are able to partner financially with us, willing to deliver ready-made meals, or know someone from our Church or the wider community who is in need, please go here for more information.

Women's Ministry Event

We would love to invite you to an evening of fellowship and sharing a meal together.
As a part of this women’s event, we will be hosting a Clothing Swap. More information about this can be found on our website (here)

Seedlings Playgroup Friday 9:30 - 11:00

Playgroup is a safe and fun environment for children to engage their imaginations, grow through play and connect with other children. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and Caregivers are all welcome to bring their little ones along for a fun morning of themed play and exploration. Everyone is welcome! Morning tea is provided. No cost to attend.

MEET THE TEAM

Meet Matilda Slade!

Matilda is leading our Women's Ministry team and regularly leads worship on Sunday at our Morning Community. We asked Matilda some questions:
How long have you been at Northridge?
I’ve been at Northridge for about 3 and a half years!

What do you do to relax?
To relax, I love playing sport! I played netball for about 15 years and I’m currently playing ultimate frisbee twice a week! I find it just helps me forget about the stresses of life.

What are you passionate about in kingdom ministry?
I love one of our Vineyard motto’s - ‘everyone gets to play’, because this is what the Kingdom is all about, and this is what I want to encourage through women’s ministry. I’m also passionate about worship - I love being able to facilitate a place where God can move through worship, and being able to do this with my husband is such a blessing too.
