Energy Week 2022 Panel Discussion
WALGA was proud to participate in Energy Week 2022, helping bring together Local Government leaders to discuss the energy transition.
 
Mayors Rhys Williams, City of Mandurah, Mayor Karen Vernon, Town of Victoria Park and CEO David MacLennan, City of Vincent were joined by WALGA President, Councillor Karen Chappel, who provided valuable insights into their respective communities. City of Vincent launches Environmentally Sustainable Design video series

The City of Vincent has just launched a new video series that encourages homes and developments to be designed more sensitively to the environment and more comfortably for occupants.

WALGA Field Day: Roadside vegetation management

The field day will include site visits, discuss options to address the challenges of managing road reserves, and look at roadside maintenance considerations.

WALGA Aboriginal Engagement and Reconciliation Forum

Registrations are open for WALGA’s 2022 Aboriginal Engagement and Reconciliation Forum, which includes a strong focus on Indigenous land management practices in environmental restoration. More here.
