The NNN Schistosomiasis and Soil-transmitted Helminthiasis disease specific group (NNN SCH-STH DSG) would like to invite you to an open side-meeting taking place during the NNN Conference 2022, themed NTDs in health systems - innovate, integrate, & empower.

• Date: 14 September, Wednesday 2022
• Time: 11:30 - 13:00 Kathmandu / 6:45 - 8:15 BST / 1:45 - 3:15 EST
• Platform: Hybrid - in-person & Zoom | open to all SCH and STH stakeholders, including those not attending the NNN conference
• Language: English with French interpretation

This meeting will include updates on the NNN SCH-STH DSG survey, from the WHO on guidelines, policies and the Technical Advisory Group (TAG SS), and discussion on operationalizing the guidelines and implementing integration. 

The meeting is open to all SCH and STH stakeholders. If you are not registered for the NNN conference, you can join the NNN SCH-STH DSG meeting virtually by registering through this link. 

If you are already registered for the NNN Conference 2022, you will have access to the meeting and do not need to complete the above registration.

We invite nominations for the position of vice-chair of the NNN SCH-STH DSG. The vice-chair works with the chair and immediate past chair of the group to guide the work of the NNN SCH-STH DSG. After one year the vice-chair takes on the chair position, as a new vice chair is elected.  To be eligible the applicant must work for an NGO involved in schistosomiasis and/or soil-transmitted helminthiasis.

Le groupe spécifique sur la schistosomiase et l'helminthiase transmise par le sol (NNN SCH-STH DSG) souhaite vous inviter à une réunion parallèle ouverte qui aura lieu pendant la conférence NNN 2022, sur le thème des MTN dans les systèmes de santé - innover, intégrer et renforcer.

• Plate-forme : Ouvert à toutes les parties prenantes de SCH et STH, y compris celles qui ne participent pas à la conférence NNN.

Cette réunion comprendra des mises à jour sur l'enquête NNN SCH-STH DSG, de l'OMS sur les directives, les politiques et le groupe consultatif technique (TAG SS), et une discussion sur l'opérationnalisation des directives et la mise en œuvre de l'intégration.   

La réunion est ouverte à toutes les parties prenantes de SCH et STH. Si vous n'êtes pas inscrit à la conférence de NNN, vous pouvez participer virtuellement à la réunion du DSG SCH-STH de NNN en vous inscrivant via ce lien.

Si vous êtes déjà inscrit à la conférence NNN 2022, vous aurez accès à la réunion et n'avez pas besoin de compléter l'inscription ci-dessus.

Élection du vice-président du groupe NNN SCH-STH DSG

Nous vous invitons à proposer des candidatures pour le poste de vice-président du NNN SCH-STH DSG. Le vice-président travaille avec le président et le président sortant du groupe pour guider le travail du DSG SCH-STH du NNN. Après un an, le vice-président reprend le poste de président, un nouveau vice-président étant élu.  Pour être éligible, le candidat doit travailler pour une ONG impliquée dans la schistosomiase et/ou les helminthiases transmises par le sol.
