Howdy Makers! We've got a great selection of new products in for you this week, including an awesome rounded LCD, the new Maker Pi Pico Mini, Pi Zero cases, handy buttons, adapters, new displays and more.
A compact version of the Maker Pi Pico, now with STEMMA QT/Qwiic connectors!
The Maker Pi Pico Mini inherits most features from its bigger sibling such as GPIO status LEDs, WS2812B RGB LED, piezo buzzer and user/reset button. The Grove connectors have also been replaced with 3x Qwiic/STEMMA QT compatible connectors to save space on the board.
On top of that, it can also be powered by a single cell LiPo battery, rechargeable via the USB port, and comes with over-charge and over-discharge protection circuits.
Silent, robust cooling for your Raspberry Pi Zero!
Keep your Raspberry Pi Zero 2 cool whilst providing protection with the Aluminium Armour Mini case!
This rugged case has a 2-in-1 design, cooling your Zero's CPU whilst also providing protection (and great looks!). Your board sandwiches between the aluminium top section and acrylic bottom layer, with an included thermal pad to help transfer heat.
This LCD display is a little different to the usual LCD displays we stock. With rounded edges on both the PCB and glass edges, this one is giving us strong smartwatch vibes!
Thanks to 4-wire SPI, you can use this with most popular microcontrollers, with examples provided for the Raspberry Pi and Arduino. You could say it's a well-rounded display.......
This has SO many uses. It's essentially just a 2-wire switch but comes with a nice sturdy button head with an adhesive backing allowing you to mount it anywhere.
Code this as an input to your microcontroller for whatever purpose you need, stick it to the thing and click away!
Tony Goodhew shows you how to connect both boards to your home network, setting one Pico up as a web server and the other as a client to send random RGB colour codes between them. Bonza!
