AUGUST DISGUST AT EYE AND EAR CONTROL RECORDS
It’s been a minute since the email only crowd has heard from us, but we have been busy. If you are not averse, I’d suggest following us on Instagram and Facebook, where we are more active currently. We are working on processes to automate updates across platforms, but it is proving to be challenging for our reptile brains. As such, this will be a remedial update while we finalize a more streamlined process. QUICK ARRIVAL UPDATES: Our most recent arrivals have included titles from WAKE, TROLLDOM, GROGALDR/AKTH, OUTRE TOMBE, AGATHOCLES, FLESH MEGALITH, CIRCLE OF OUROBORUS, MAENAD AND THE RAVERS, BLUT AUS NORD, RIOT .303, THE NOSTRILS, NEOS, STICK FARM, ARCFIEND, BURIER, MERZBOW, and a ton more. Since we are playing catchup. I will not list them all, but page one is brimming with titles not mentioned in an email update since our last dispatch.
PRE-ORDERS: The new WAKE LP, Thought Form Descent (Metal Blade) is in preorder and will be in hand next week.
IMMINENT LISTINGS: A new batch of Fan Club pressings is on it’s way to us, including copies of DANZIG I, III and IV, a restocking of several titles by SAMHAIN, MISFITS, SLAYER, METALLICA, etc. These will be listed when they arrive next week. Some titles will be reserved for sale at the upcoming Tiny And Mean Punk Record Swap, taking place at the Goodwill from 7 to 9 PM on September 3rd. We will also be selling records at the BEGRIME EXEMIOUS show at the Bulldog the same night.
STORE IMPROVEMENTS: We have been working on the back end of the site with an eye towards improving load times. I am not an IT professional, but inroads have been made with caching and content delivery networks that have improved the performance on the site demonstrably; Please contact me with any issues you encounter.
