Acknowledge RU Okay Day

Connect with your neighbours in the local community by planting herbs together.  Stop into your local library and grab a bok choy seed pack from September 8 through to September 15. Packs are free, however you must have your library membership card and borrow one library item to collect your pack.

There’s something simply therapeutic about colouring in!

Vital Reads Book Club

The Vital Reads Book Club is for healthcare practitioners of the Mackay region. 

It provides an opportunity to read the selected medical based book, connect with other healthcare professionals, while discussing the merits of the selected book as a new resource to support patients with their healthcare education. 

Recommendations from the book club members will become accessible for patients and residents as part of the new Words for Wellbeing collection.
 
Vital Reads Book Club is funded by NQPHN and is for health care professionals aged 18 years or older.

Road to IELTS
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a self-study course to help prepare for the IELTS exam.

Practice listening tasks under timed conditions, view videos of speaking tests, develop techniques and vocabulary for writing tasks; and work on text for the reading test, simulating the real exam.
