• A reminder that the last day the pool is open for swim is Friday, September 9th (pool closes at 8:00 pm).
• The HMSTC Gala & Silent Auction is Saturday, September 10th (get your tickets here https://hollinmeadowsgala.eventbrite.com/)
• The Annual Dog Swim ("Pooches in the Pool") is Sunday, September 11th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  
• Pre-construction and site prep for the pool renovation begins on September 12th.  We will send a separate call-out for volunteers to help us break down the pool the week of the 12th. 

• We have noticed a number of small children left unattended in the pool this summer.  Parents, you are the first line of defense and safety -- please watch your children at all times when they are in the pool.  Any child who has not passed the swim test is not permitted in the main pool (to include deep end) without a parent or caregiver  'within arms' reach.  
• There is absolutely NO GLASS allowed. HMSTC is a Glass Free Zone -- broken glass and bare feet don't mix well, bring cans or box wine and containers please.  
• Please NO GUM.  It's a choking hazard and gross to clean up.  
• The HMSTC closes its gates at the contracted hours of 9:00 pm (or closing time).  The Board has instructed the life guards to blow the whistle at 8:45 pm (or 7:45 pm after 5 Sep) to enable members to shower, gather their belongings, and depart the parking area so that the gates can be locked by closing time.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Winter swim will be held at Lee District Rec Center – 6601 Telegraph Road on Sunday evenings.

Our program will emphasize improvement in stroke technique and racing components such as starts, turns, and finishes.

2022-2023 Policies for the Rec Center:

Currently, the Park District does not have any restrictions for the pools.  We will let you know if they decide to change their procedures.

All participants must be members of HMSTC. Registration priority will be given to current swim team members if you register by August 30, 2022

Our sessions are appropriate for anyone who competed for the Barracudas this past summer, as well as swimmers who are interested in competing for the team next season. NOTE: If your child did not swim for the Barracudas this summer –your child will need to be evaluated.  Your child must be able to swim 25 yards.  We will not have a lane for non-swimmers.  Please contact Kim Dwyer at kim.f.dwyer@gmail.com if your child did not swim on the summer swim team.

Our fees for the program are $220 for 1 swimmer, 2^nd swimmer in a family $210 and 3^rd swimmer in a family $200
