As the summer struggles to give us a few more sunny days, KWF is finishing up our summer education and ecology programs and planning for next year. We continue to welcome daily visitors to the Kenai Watershed office. On Friday, Chuck and Steven Obendorf, the husband and son of a former KWF board member, Betty Obendorf, and a friend from Alberta dropped in. They reminded us of Betty’s coined phrase, “Having a love affair with the river (The Kenai)”. This should remind us that loves lost are not forgotten and that we are still connected to The Kenai even from Chicago, where the Obendorfs currently reside.
