Learn more about Education for Ministry! See below for more information.
Education for Ministry (http://www.efmcanada.ca) is a program of theological education for lay people. There are four years of study, but participants commit for one year at a time, meeting in small groups with a trained mentor/group leader.
Participants take what they learn about Scripture, church history, theology and ethics and learn how to bring this knowledge into their own lives and hearts, supporting them in living out a vibrant baptismal ministry in the church and in the world.
Three ongoing groups in the Diocese are welcoming new participants for Sept 2022:
A Wednesday evening group in Montreal at Dio (Montreal Diocesan Theological College). Please contact Nancy Greene-Gregoire (ngreene@acm.org)
A Thursday afternoon group meeting from 1 to 3:30pm in Sutton at Grace Anglican Church. Please contact Tim Smart (revtimsmart@gmail.com)
A Thursday evening group in Lachute at St Simeon’s, and on zoom. Please contact Nancy Greene-Gregoire (ngreene@acm.org)

As we start opening up offices, parishes may be looking to update their computer software. The Diocesan offices order a number of our Microsoft Software and Adobe products from a company called TechSoup Canada that offers great discounts to non-profits. They also sell a limited number of refurbished laptops and Computers.
Here is the link for you. It explains what they are about, who would qualify for their services and how to sign up with them.

Image showing heat loss (lighter colours) with the temperature scale showing on the bottom of the picture. Fixable problems are often around foundations and doors/windows, but sometimes in the middle of wall, due to damaged insulation.
“Do you wonder where your church is losing all its heat? Send an email tosec@montreal.anglican.ca for information on an energy assessment (we hope we can keep it free), including thermal imaging."
Attention parishes! This link has information on applying for funding from the government for security infrastructure.
