Avoiding a Service Fee When Paying HOAs
Hey Everyone:
It's come up in discussion a couple of different times now, so I'll clarify:
You have multiple ways of paying your HOA bill.
WAY #1: The cheapest (and probably easiest) is to turn in the form allowing the management company to debit your bank account directly. There is NO FEE if you do it this way. HERE is the Form I'm doing it this way to eliminate the possibility of late fees or service fees.
WAY #2: You can mail a check each month to the home office of Associa. This obviously costs you money and time to mail and of course you'll need to mail it early enough to reach Georgia on time. Checks should be made payable to "Lanai Condominium Association" and include your unit address or account number in the memo field and sent to:
- Lanai Condominium Association
- c/o Associa of Colorado
- PO Box 105768
- Atlanta, GA 30348-5768
WAY #3: You do have the ability to pay your HOA fees through Town Square, HOWEVER AND VERY IMPORTANTLY, you will be charged fees for that service. Those fees go to the Town Square app and not the Lanai. The Town Square app is useful for viewing your account and submitting work requests and remodeling plans, but it seems on the pricey side for paying your HOAs.
Hope this is helpful.
