MTBC Fellowship Groups
A note from Aaron Ansons
Fellowship is an important aspect of the church that often receives leftover energy. Fellowship should be the life blood of the church where we grow together for God and for the community in which we serve. Luke tells us about the power of togetherness in the beginning of Acts, “And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42 CSB) This is a picture of what the church should look like, teaching, fellowship, meals and praying. Intimate fellowship is a way for people to get connected with the community, to grow together in Christ, and ensures that the body is taken care of.
This is why we are personally inviting every single person to join us on 11 September as we kick off our new morning fellowships at MTBC. We will have MTBC Kids that will work through the Old and New Testament as they come to have a deeper and fuller knowledge of God’s plan for us. The MTBC Youth will be exploring their identity in Christ as they prepare to step out into the world on their own and stand on their testimony of who they are in Christ. And then finally, MTBC Adults will be learning about spiritual disciplines and how these can help to make a huge impact on our spiritual walk and give us the strength as we go through the ups and downs that life will inevitably bring. Remember life was not meant to lived alone.
