Free webinar Sept 21, 12-1PM EST

As the new school year begins in earnest, it can feel overwhelming for children (and you!) to adjust to the new rhythm. Transitions can be difficult in the best of times, and the added uncertainty of uncontrollable events–like pandemic disruptions–can increase anxiety. Building resilience can help! Resilience is the ability to adapt to and bounce back from challenges, moving forward with optimism. Everyone is resilient to some degree, but it’s possible to strengthen your children’s resilience “muscles” (and your own) by exercising them.

This free webinar shows how building resilience can ease the transition back to school and help your children thrive despite the uncertainties and changes they will face at school and at home. You will learn practical and evidence-based skills to encourage in your children as they move forward this year.

What’s New at RAB

We received great feedback from our pilot program in the spring and are finalizing the Resilience Builder Program - Universal (RBP-U) on its new dedicated website for teachers. We are excited to begin training 10 teachers this October to deliver the RBP-U to their classes!

We also welcomed a new Advisory Council member, Marnie Weinstein, who brings her decades of experience in education to our team. Read more about Marnie and the rest of our Advisory Council here.

Last week, a paper on the effectiveness of the Resilience Builder Program® in schools was published in the Journal of Child and Family Studies. Read the abstract and highlights here.

When mental health is prioritized, children can fully unleash their potential and everyone benefits. Give the gift of resilience today!
