Dear Middle School Families,
 

We are so excited about our retreat days this Thursday and Friday!  (8/25 & 8/26)  This is a great time for our students to grow spiritually, reflect and have fun bonding with their classmates.  Please be praying for God’s blessing in the lives of our students.

We will be on campus for special activities all day on Thursday. Students may wear free dress. Please check out the guidelines HERE. Pastor Josh Simpson will be joining us, doing devotions.

On Friday we head to Corona del Mar State Beach and will return before 3:00pm. Thank you everyone for returning the beach permission slips so quickly!  If you have meds or devices like an inhaler or epi-pen that isn't already at school, please be sure to get those to the school by the end of the day Thursday - along with the  required paperwork (call the office if you have questions). Students do not need to bring money, as the $25 to cover the bus and the retreat expenses is billed through FACTs. 

Here are a few quick reminders:

- Breakfast is provided tomorrow. (Del Taco breakfast rollers and juice boxes)

- Lunch is provided tomorrow.  (Pizza)

- While there is a snack bar at Corona del Mar, please send a lunch for your student on Friday.  (The snack bar is not guaranteed to be open.)  

Here are the instructions for Friday:
Students must be here at the regular 8:15am start time. We're heading to the beach by bus and we will not wait for late students!

Beach Details

• Girls must wear a one piece modest bathing suit
• An option is for girls to wear board shorts and a dark t-shirt or rash guard.
• Bring sunscreen, a towel and/or beach chair
• Bring lunch and water
