September is here and so is the Social Enterprise World Forum!

CEO Elise Parups was on hand this week at the launch of the Queensland Government’s new Workforce Strategy: Good People Good Jobs released at Parliament House. We were delighted to see the commitment to the Social Enterprise Jobs Fund (SEJF) in the next three year implementation plan and Toowoomba-based social enterprise, The Mulberry Project featured at the launch.

We have also participated recently in representations with CCIQ, Advance Qld, the Department of Environment and Science, textiles and circular economy roundtables, manufacturing, local government presentations, procurement panels, agricultural and major infrastructure project discussions. We just LOVE that Queensland social enterprises are making waves across every industry and sector!
