“Gloucester,” Oil Study on Canvas Panel

Hi <<First Name>>,

I hope you are enjoying the season, wherever you may be. It’s summer in Boston and the flowers are in full bloom. And you can also see tiny hints of fall colors popping up here and there. Before summer winds down, I wanted to share a couple things:

The summer 30% off sale on all available paintings is still on! Click here to view. Have you been looking to own original art? Now is a good time!

Let me know which one you’d like before September 4th if you can. (I was hoping to continue the sale through mid September, but after September 4th, the paintings go into storage so it will be more difficult for me to get them to you).

New $100 or less - additions to my website: I have added a section of oil studies and sketches on my website - click here. And another section for a few select drawings, click here to view.

If you have any ideas of what you’d like to hear more about in my emails, please do let me know. I’ve loved hearing from you. Reply here.

As I get ready to return to year 2 of art school in Florence, I’m both nervous and excited. I must admit there are times that I ask myself, “Um…so remind me… why are you doing this again?”

But then I’ll see something I want to sketch, and have to literally stop on the street to sketch it! Then I remember why. This is one such sketch I did in NYC, I only had 10 minutes, it’s very rough, but I had to stop. (It’s the NY Public Library Lion!)

Your support has kept me going through those ups and downs. Thank you!

Best wishes,
Ellen
