Summer Teacher Institute Announced
BISMARCK, N.D. – Educators are invited to register for the Summer Teacher Institute to be held July 26-29 at the North Dakota Heritage & State Museum in Bismarck. Attendees can choose to participate online or in person.
Kathy Swan, Ph.D., lead writer of the C3F Framework Leadership Team, will be presenting on the Inquiry Design Model approach. The institute will feature hands-on opportunities to develop inquiry materials. Educators will also get a first look at the new North Dakota Studies high school curriculum, which incorporates the Inquiry Design Model.
While the focus of the institute is on high school social studies content, participation is open to educators at all grade levels and subject matter. Capacity is limited. Registration is free through June 30 and increases to $45 July 1. Travel reimbursement is available for eligible participants. Two credits are available through North Dakota State University, the University of North Dakota, and Minot State University.
