June 2021 news bulletin

Welcome to the latest GMCA newsletter - where we bring you updates from Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS), and Mayor of Greater Manchester, in a bid to keep the people of Greater Manchester informed and ensure they are receiving all of the right advice and guidance in relation to COVID-19.

We always appreciate feedback, so if you have any suggestions about what you'd like to see in this newsletter, please email us: news@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk.

It's still so important we all continue to be cautious and take steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Greater Manchester.

We can now meet indoors but only in groups of six or with one other household. However, meeting outdoors is safest. If you do choose to meet indoors, keep rooms well ventilated by opening a window and keep your distance from each other whenever possible.

It’s also important we all get tested twice a week, continue to work from home and get vaccinated when you are offered it.

You can read the full guidance on the Government website.

Thank you for doing your bit to help bring the number of COVID-19 cases down across the city-region, and please do continue to keep yourself and others safe.

Find out more on our website and from your local council about how you can help.
