Year 5 were busy on World Ocean Day, 8th June 2021, building a collage to represent the ocean and all the wonderful organisms that live there. This is a culmination of work carried out throughout the year, where children have continued learning about the dangers of plastic in the ocean, pollution and climate change. The collage represents our vision for 2030 and beyond...a cleaner ocean and a healthy planet. Thank you to the year 5 pupils for showing us what can be achieved in the future.
First School have been learning all about taking care of our ocean, even P.E had an ocean-themed game called Sharks and Dolphins!

Faith Diary This week’s gospel talks about planting seeds: the farmer sows his seeds in good soil then leaves them to grow and develop naturally on their own, before returning to reap his crop. It should never cease to amaze us that each tiny seed carries within its full potential to achieve maturity, and that all it needs is a hospitable environment in which to grow and develop. In the same way, the words of Jesus, planted in the good soil of the human heart, can grow and develop into mighty trees of faith which give God a rich crop of mercy and good works.
