The Inner Bay of Fundy, Atlantic Salmon population is now registered as a Species at Risk in NB. As a result, DFO has developed a critical habitat area map that can be found here.
Zoom in to NB and you will see a red polygon area that is identified as the critical habitat area for the Inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic Salmon population.
All environmental permits in this area will be sent to DFO for approval, which could provide some delays for approval.
