Before the pandemic hit anyone with a love for Hamilton was eagerly awaiting its big-screen debut but instead of being in the room where it should have happened - a theater! - we watched Hamilton from our living rooms. Cut to 2021 and we now get to see another of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s creations…this time on the big screen where it belongs. And what a road it’s been, particularly for Anthony Ramos, pictured above with Miranda in Hamilton as John Lawrence and as the leading man in In The Heights.

BONUS EVENT FOR PRIDE!
We are always happy when we can give aspiring young filmmakers a place to see their work on the big screen. This Thursday, before the 7:35pm screening of In The Heights, you can enjoy a special bonus event; a short film by San Jose students, Miguel Bayon Jacobson and Will Yeaman. "I Can't Say It Yet" will be presented as part of Pride month to all who join us for In The Heights on Thursday night. Break a leg, Miguel and Will!
