What the internship program is all about

Our internship program is focused on providing our interns with a number of significant opportunities.  First, our interns are given the opportunity to grow deeper in their faith and personal relationship with Christ, through one on one discipleship, group fellowship and activities. Second, they have the opportunity to be equipped and developed for ministry through hands-on experience, personal mentoring, and training. Third, they are given the opportunity to explore God’s possible call on their lives for missions and ministry.  Fourth, they are given an opportunity to make a real contribution to expanding the impact of Word of Life Hungary, for God’s glory, throughout Hungary and Central Europe.

Testimonies

"I decided to intern here this year because I felt that this is where the Lord wanted me for another year, He confirmed it to me in many different ways. But also, because I wanted to serve in a place where I have learned so much and grown in my faith, having done the 1st and 2nd year program at the Bible Institute. I also wanted my first work experience to be in a place where Christ is the center, and everyone is encouraged to grow closer to Him every day. My intern experience this year has been challenging, exciting, and enjoyable! I’ve learned so much about the Lord and what He may have for me in the future, how much work is put into making a Bible school like this run, as well as practical ways things in an office work, all through a perspective that is Christ centered. I’ve learned so much more about ministries and the difficulties that may occur. I’ve made new friendships and grown old ones. This year has truly been a blessing, even through the challenges I’ve faced, I’ve been able to see how the Lord is working."

"My name is Lőrincz Hannelore; I am a 22-year-old Transylvanian intern with WOL Hungary. I came to the Bible Institute in 2018 with a plan to stay here for both years, but during the first year my plans changed. I felt God’s calling to go back to my hometown to do children’s ministry and once this became my focus, I started thinking about how I could get more prepared for this. It seemed like a good idea to do a year of internship instead of another school year. As an intern I can take part in ministry on a deeper level and have a more practical training for my future. This has been a truly blessed experience and God has taught me a lot more than I expected by giving me the opportunity to be involved in many different ministries and showing me the areas in which I need to grow. I know that I still have so many things to grow in and I will never stop learning, but this one year has been a great foundation on which I am super excited to build on. I can’t wait to use what I received here in the work that God assigned me to do."
