Crosspoint family shrimp boil and cookout, June 27
It's time to reconnect with and meet new Crosspointers and you can do that at the Greet & Eat Shrimp Boil and Cookout on Sunday, June 27.
This Crosspoint family meal will start at noon, following the last church service, and include a shrimp boil, hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and desserts and plenty of friendly faces to get to know or catch up with!
"Yes, the pandemic put some 'distance' between us this past year, but sometimes members miss connecting because one prefers 8:30 service and another likes coming to a later one," said Pastor Israel Cox. "This is simply a time where we can all be together at once, see each other's face in person and enjoy some quality time and food together."
Registration is free, but needed for planning purposes. If you would like to help with serving food, desserts or general setup after the early service, email Tracy Yanez or Jeff Simmons.
Father's Day to include child dedications & baptisms
Crosspoint Church will be combining a couple of celebrations on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, including child dedications and baptisms.
Child dedications are simply an acknowledgement of the parent(s) commitment to raise their child in a Christian home and the church's commitment to come along side the family in support of that journey. Contact the Kid's Ministry Leader Heather Cagnato sign up.
Baptism services will also be held for anyone who has accepted Christ as their personal Savior and wants to take the next step in declaring their faith publicly. Contact Pastor Israel Cox to discuss more.
