Happy Summer!
 We hope everyone is enjoying their summer and is making good progress with their skating. We are hard at work planning the Chesapeake Open, less than a month away - August 4-8 - at The Gardens Ice House. This is our major fundraiser of the year and is extra important this year, since we were unable to hold last year's event. The proceeds enable us to have ice time, test sessions and other club activities.
We need the help of our members to make it a success. Volunteers are needed with setup and cleanup, ice monitoring, awards, hospitality and running. Sign-up will go live on Sign-Up Genius this week; watch for an email. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact info@baltimorefigureskatingclub.com

 We wish the best of luck to Ryan Dunk (Suffolk University), Maya Jones (UMBC) and Katie Koster (Boston University) at the U.S. Collegiate Championships in Aston, PA, July 28-29. Ryan will compete in Senior Men, Maya in Junior Ladies and Katie in Novice Ladies.

 Congratulations to Anastasia Christy and Olivia Sobkowicz, who have qualified for the Excel National Festival in Strongsville, Ohio, August 12-15! Anastasia and Olivia will compete in Preliminary Girls. We wish them the best of luck.
Test Session
Our next test session is August 28, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Reisterstown Sportsplex. We can offer MIF, FS and Dance through Senior/Gold level. Applications are available at https://baltimorefigureskatingclub.com/?page_id=31 and are due to info@baltimorefigureskatingclub.com by August 14. Payment can be made via Venmo or Zelle and is due with your application.
