Voting—Supermarket Legends Organization
Registering Jailed Persons to Vote

Many thousands of Wisconsin residents in detention are eligible to vote but are prevented from voting because no one has helped them register to vote.  Terri Lowder and Peg Shrader from the Milwaukee County League of Women Voters met recently to discuss an initiative to help register eligible persons in detention in Milwaukee County.  They hope to meet soon with Ex-incarcerated Prisoners Organizing (EXPO) to explore how we can partner with them on this initiative. If you want to help, contact Terri Lowder at tlowder996@gmail.com.
