At present we see only puzzling reflections in a mirror, but one day we shall see face to face. My knowledge know is partial then it will be whole like God’s knowledge of me.
Celebration of Life - Friday, June 18 @ 10:00 am for Eloise Robbins (Jessie Carter's mother, Alyssa Becho's grandmother & great-grandmother to Nate, Tad, & Gracie)
Garden of Eatin’ – now is the time to choose a bed from the garden to plant. There is a map on the bulletin board next to the utility closet. A couple of beds are full of berry bushes or have already been reserved by someone, but most are open for the taking. Choose a bed not spoken for and will it with future delishiness. Put your name on the map to show which bed you are cultivating. A few random thing have been planted, if you want that bed just help whatever is there flourish. Just check the map to be sure the bed hasn’t been spoken for by a specific person.
Nursery - The nursery will not be opening for now either, however, it could use a good cleaning and straightening. If anyone is interested in spending some time doing that, let Laura know. It would be great to have it clean, organized and ready to go when we do open it back up.
Contact information - A number of folks have completed the information for the new church directory, but a number have not. Please click on this link
Church Directory form and complete the information so you can be included. Don't want to be included? click the link and let us know so we don't bug you. There is even a way to attach a picture to include in the directory.
Plastic Bags – There is still a bin outside to collect plastic grocery bags
. If you would like to learn how to make "Plarn" (plastic yarn), which is used to make mats for the homeless, come to church a little early and Collette or Christina would be happy to teach you. We have a lot of bags to weave. Any help would be appreciated.
Giving Sunday –There is a collection bin for donations to Hillcrest & St. Michael’s pantry by the front door You can swing by and drop off your donations and the bin will be checked weekly.
