rarest patented 1940s designs - magnificent 4 inch purple Cyclamen pin clip, hardly ever here, patented early 1941, from the superb Trifari Philippe enamel and pave flowers series of 1940-42 - red white and blue, patriotically united, patented Philippe lovebirds, from December 1941-Jan 1942 - Coro Sterling 1944 patented and wonderfully advertised (in Harper's) Jelly Belly Frogs duette, made in Canada - superb Trifari Philippe fruit salad flower pot or basket, revisitation in 1948, in trifanium and spangles (with tell-tale clasp for the pin clip), of a patented 1941 design (done then in rhodium, pave and enamel - like many other 1941 designs that became 1948 'renaissance' revisitations)...

rare Reja Pear pin, from the 1941 Fruit and Veg series described in Women's Wear Daily and Brunialti - superbly executed 1920s or 30s intaglio carved Bakelite butterfly pin - rare, never seen, script signed Coro American Eagle pin, part of the fall 1940 surge in US patriotic production - charming Henry a la Pensee black velvet and gold spangled star earrings, from a fine series noticed in 1947 by Women's Wear Daily (imported from France for their NYC shop - a transatlantic partnership that ended soon afterwards)...

and more - 1963 spectacular full page colour advert in Harper's Bazaar, for the Trifari Philippe 'Egrets' pine cone series, this example in all gold... rare WW2 patriotic US Air Force insignia, tiny but perfectly formed in 10kt gold - and a 1980s or later Trifari TM lizard, interesting because it still employs the 1950 Trifari Philippe patent design...
