About Arizona Master Naturalists

Arizona Master Naturalists are a certified corps of volunteers who provide community service to organizations in need of citizen science, stewardship, and educational assistance.  Our mission is to inspire leadership, and community engagement, for a sustainable world, through volunteer service to natural and cultural history organizations in the state of Arizona.   The Maricopa County Parks Chapter meets on the second Wednesday of the month where we hear speakers on varying topics about the natural environment.  Updates are also provided about volunteer projects, educational opportunities, and chapter business.

AZMNA is not affiliated with any of our state universities, though we often utilize faculty and other content providers as instructors for the classroom portion of the program.
