Dear Friends of Africa For Christ
Greetings in Jesus Name! we are still all in a time of challenge around Covid, but we have also had opportunity to consider new partnerships and new ministry in this time. This month we introduce a new partner mission to AFC and a new country that we are now involved in.
Meeting with Nsimba Baboka in Cape Town
In February 2020 I was invited to teach at a mission conference of a Congolese Church in Cape Town. Nsimba Baboka is the pastor of the French speaking church , but was also previously a Bible College Director in Ivory Coast. He has started a mission called Amei Mission with the vision to mobilize African believers to go into Northern Africa with the Gospel and reach many unchurched communities there, who are mainly followers of Mohammed. We have agreed to partner, and AFC will support one of his workers who has began an outreach in his home country - see below.
Introducing Dillo Salifou from Niger
Above is a foto of Dillo with kids from the village of Kohan in the Kolo Tilaberie region. He is a church planter in his home country where very few believers exist. He came to faith many years ago and went to Ivory Coast to Bible College where he became close friends with Nsimba. He wites: " to share Christ in these areas I buy the small radio with memory card I record the Bible in audio for those who have not studied. I sometimes go with members of the Biblical Alliance of Niger, we are going to evangelize the souls that the devil has stolen. We take a taxi bus that goes to unreached areas, a dangerous place where live the Hausa and Tuaregs people. "

- Fruit as Dillo and his family minister in Niger
- Safety and courage for Dillo in difficulty areas where Christ is not welcomed
- Nsimba as he mentors Dillo and others in Amei mission
