In a letter the teachers and school staff will receive from Father Jim this week, he shared with them these sentiments: Please know how much all of us at the parish have appreciated the outstanding service you have provided for our students and their families this year. It is a true ministry on behalf of the diocese and the parish that you offer to our school community. In this pandemic year, you excelled in meeting the needs of our students, especially in the beginning of the year when so many did remote learning. You adapted throughout the year to the changing needs of educating our students, and did so with your usual professionalism and true concern for our students. I cannot adequately express my appreciation, as pastor, for your faithful and dedicated commitment to the education of our school students this year.
I wish you a summer that is restful and rejuvenating. May it renew you in body, mind and spirit, most especially in your spiritual life that is so important in performing your duties not merely as a job but as a ministry. My prayers and thoughts will be with you this summer. I will sincerely miss seeing you and all the students.
