The UPF recognises her exceptional contribution to our understanding of the underlying principles of embryonic development. The ceremony will take place on 6 July 2021 in the auditorium of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park, and will be live-streamed.

For the first time, UPF is among the top 250 universities in the Shanghai ranking, having climbed 39 places


The University is ranked 248th in the general list, and climbs 15 places in Europe to reach 107th. The University stands out for citations, for which it comes 73rd globally, followed by percentage of international faculty.

A new issue of UPF’s digital magazine that reviews current issues in an innovative format, has recently been published. The main thread of the latest issue is the importance of culture as a strategic line and it includes reports and interviews on the topic along with expert opinions.
