Nury Turkel to receive first Notre Dame Prize for Religious Liberty

The Notre Dame Law School Religious Liberty Initiative will honor prominent Uyghur-American attorney and human rights advocate Nury Turkel with the first Notre Dame Prize for Religious Liberty on June 28. Read more here.

Notre Dame Law School announces the Class of 2021 awards
Ethan Beck
Colonel William J. Hoynes Award – the Law School’s highest honor. The award is named after Notre Dame Law School’s first dean and is given to a member of the graduating class for outstanding scholarship, application, deportment, and achievement.
Zachary Pohlman
The Dean Joseph O’Meara Award. The award, established by the Class of 1964, is presented annually to a member of the graduating class for outstanding academic achievement.
Alyson Cox
The Farabaugh Prize. This award for high scholarship in law was established by Gallitzin A. Farabaugh, a local South Bend attorney.

Lardy Award
Andrew “Ross” D’Entremont, a rising third-year student at Notre Dame Law School has been selected to receive the Peter A.R. Lardy Scholarship Award for the 2021-22 academic year. Read the article here.

Bernardo Pulido Márquez, a J.S.D. student at Notre Dame Law School is the recipient of the fifth annual Kellogg Institute Award for Outstanding Doctoral Student Contributions. Read the article here.

Congratulations to Molly Bellia and the Saint Joe High School Girls Tennis Team!
|
|
Freshman Molly Bellia daughter of A.J. and Tricia Bellia won the 2021 IHSAA Individual State Tennis Championship on Saturday. A.J. and Tricia's daughter Kate won the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award. The Saint Joseph High School Girls Tennis Team finished runner up at the State finals. Two other parents in the law school have daughters on the team, Julian Velasco and Tammye Raster.
