Hey Everybody,
I hope all of you are well and enjoying the warmer, sunnier, summer days! I love this time of year.
Thank you for praying for me as I have been recovering from a battle with Covid! I apparently contacted it in one of my meetings and managed to get home before it hit me too hard. I was pretty much out of commission for about two weeks but I appear to have almost fully recovered. I still get a cough here and there and my voice is a bit weak. I praise God, however, that I am doing better. I have even gained back some of the 25 pounds that I lost!
Thank you also for praying and giving toward a "new-to-us" motor coach. The owner is holding it for us until we have the money to purchase it and we are within about $15,000 of being able to pay cash. Our entire family has been overwhelmed by your generosity and by God's goodness in this matter. Please continue to pray. I will update you as soon as we are able to purchase it! Of course, you can still give toward this need if you feel God would have you to do so. This week we are in Knoxville, TN at Southside Baptist Church. This is our first time here and it has been a great week so far. I wish all of you could be a part of a meeting like this. We have had great crowds, a sweet spirit in the services, and receptive hearts! Thank you so much for praying for us and keeping up with us along the way. Your partnership is an incredible blessing.
Next week we head to Poplar Bluff, MO to one of our favorite churches. I will be preaching all day Sunday and then preaching in a youth revival Sunday evening through Thursday night. Please pray that teens will be saved and that God will work in all of our hearts through His Word. I am meeting so many young people who are hungry for God's reviving presence. It is so encouraging to see and I believe that God is going to hear and answer their prayers.
