All emails, texts, and phone calls will be returned during staff hours.
Our Guest Speaker this week is Rev. Howard Caesar
Reverend Howard Caesar was ordained as a Unity minister in 1976. His first ministry was in Olympia, Washington where he served for seven years and helped grow the congregation by 600%. He was heard on two different radio stations daily.
In 1983, Reverend Caesar joined the ministerial staff at Unity Church in Houston, Texas, where he served as Senior Minister for the next 34 years. During this time, he led the 3000+ member congregation. Each Sunday, Reverend Caesar's message focused on a positive, practical and progressive approach to Christianity and universal spiritual principles.
In September of 2017, Reverend Howard Caesar left pulpit ministry to enter his next form of spiritual service which includes speaking, workshops, coaching, consulting, pilgrimages and writing. He currently has an Amazon #1 Best Seller, "One + One is One."
This Sunday
What do you know for certain as you walk the eternal path of life? What has permanency and what does not? Join Howard Caesar as he explores some of the specific teachings, truths and realizations regarding Life, Death, and Beyond.
Divine Spirit fills our hearts with peace and love. As we breathe in this peace, we are centered and calm. We rest in that moment of breath before letting go of any feelings or thoughts that do not serve our good.
Guided by Divine Wisdom, we choose to place our faith in the highest and best outcome for Unity Church of Georgetown, for our congregation, and for ourselves. We hold our Board of Directors in the light of Divine Love, knowing that as they feel that loving support, they are guided in their decisions. We release the need to know the answers, resting in the confidence that as God works in and through us, all things are possible.
We move forward confidently and with ease, knowing that we are always surrounded by God presence. As we respond with full and open hearts, we know there is nothing but God.
And so we claim this to be. Amen
We need your opinion on ideas for upcoming events!
The Fun and Fellowship team has some great ideas for events, but we would like to gage the interest in the congregation. Please take this survey and let us know what to get scheduled. There is also a place on the survey to add your own idea for a fun event!
Here are some of the events that have been proposed:
An Estate Planning Inquiring Minds meeting
A Wine Tour of Fredericksburg via Bus or Van
Health and Wellness Expert
The fun and fellowship team has been in contact with a speaker on wellness topics: fitness, healthy eating and diet, stress management, etc. but want to gauge the interest in it before we obligate and schedule her. She is in Round Rock, so there is potentially the option to have her in person later. Check out Karen Hummel: download her "one-sheet" here
Please take the survey and let us know what you think: Events Survey
