4-H Youth Partnership

We are excited to partner with Waukesha County 4-H Youth this summer! This week, Joanna will be joining 4-H Youth at camp and leading them in activities on solar energy and participating in an art build to showcase the many ways we can help the environment.

In July, we are taking our Trash Talking 101 presentation to the public and leading activities in the 4-H Kid's Corner of the Waukesha County Fair on July 22 at 2pm. Want to help at the fair?

And stay tuned to Greencast as Laura and Alec sit down and interview several 4-H Youth and learn all about the organization and their projects!

How to Make Your Home Zero Carbon
&
Bonus Spanish Mini Series #5!

First, Laura sits down with Steve to talk about his zero carbon home, and how he was able to do it for free! This episode offers a game-plan for individuals wanting to do the same.

And then, hold onto your seats, it's another bilingual episode coming your way! In this installment, the students of Oconomowoc High School's Global Sustainability Class teach us about gardening - how to start a garden and the benefits of gardening. Like all of our Spanish collaborations, the first half of this episode is in Spanish, and the second half is the English translation.

GreenCast is a monthly podcast from the Waukesha County Green Team. Hosts Alec and Laura have in-depth conversations with sustainability experts and passionate individuals to introduce more people to all of the wonderful work being done in and around Waukesha County.
