What would we do without fathers? Growing up, I didn't have the best relationship with my dad, but when people would tell me I had my father's eyes, they always said it in such a complementary way, it would make me feel proud. People love my dad and he always has a sparkle in his eyes, so having his big, brown eyes became something I appreciated. Amy Grant said it best, "She's got her father's eyes...eyes that find the good in things when good is not around; eyes that find the source of help, when help just can't be found." Yes, I got that from my father, too, but he got it from THE Father! And for that, I am grateful!
What did you get from your father? His smile? His temper? Good or bad, we have a choice of whether to keep that trait, or trade it in for something better from Our Father. Psalm 17:8 says, "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings." God the Father loves and cares for us more than any earthly father could, so know that you are loved beyond measure!

Sabbath School begins promptly at 10:30am and divine worship service begins at 11:30am. We look forward to seeing our church family! If you cannot join us in person, we stream online every Sabbath and you can join us there. Either way, we look forward to worshipping with you this Sabbath.
SUNSET
The Sabbath is God’s perpetual sign of His eternal covenant between Him and His people. Joyful observance of this holy time from evening to evening, sunset to sunset, is a celebration of God’s creative and redemptive acts.

ADULT SABBATH SCHOOL
Join us each Sabbath morning at 10:30am in the sanctuary or online as we practice "the Church at study." This quarter, we continue looking more closely at what God’s covenant is, what it offers, even what it demands. If you don't have a Bible Study Guide for second quarter 2021, you can pick one up this Sabbath in the church lobby or study online. This Sabbath, we will review Lesson 11, "New Covenant Sanctuary."

PRAYER MINISTRY
Prayer is one of the Divine provisions (see below list of provisions) from God which allows us to communicate with Him, at any time, to receive guidance and grace to help with every need. Prayer also energizes the heart of a believer through the power of the Holy Spirit. Consistent Prayer also releases the power of God's blessing on your life and circumstances.

Join the Prayer Ministry Team each Sabbath at 9:00am, 3:00pm, and 6:00pm as we submit our supplications to God on behalf of all who request prayer. You may also continue to submit your requests during Divine Worship.

SOUTHPOINT FAMILY CAMP 2021
September 10-12 will be here before you know it! Are you planning on going to our Family Camp at Kulaqua this year? If so, you can pay a non-refundable $50 deposit To hold your accommodations. Please place your deposit and/or payment in a tithe envelope and give to Chris Drechsler so she can record your payment. We ask that you make payments as often as possible as the full payment is due by July 31. There are 2 chalets and 2 rooms in the lodge available to reserve and prices are for the whole weekend.
